MYSTERY READERS
are STILL welcome!
You can read in Portuguese or English, does not matter just come spend some quality time with your child and his/her friends in our class.

We would like to invite any parents, older siblings, grandparents, relatives, or other special people to surprise your child by being a “Mystery Reader” this year. Students LOVE having their family, friends, and relatives visit our classroom to share in our learning by reading a favorite story aloud to our class. Mystery Readers will visit us on Fridays at 9:30. Readers are asked to bring a book to read. You can read in English or Portuguese.

If you can find a Friday that works for you please send me a note or email (csime@internationalcharterschool.org). Please keep your date top secrets do not let your child know when you will be coming in, since you are a "mystery" to the students. We are hoping you will be willing to write five clues about yourself that we can give to the class as hints on Friday before you come in. Please make sure these get to me at least a day in advanced.

Sample clues:
1. My favorite book when I was in second grade was Charlie
and the Chocolate Factory.
2. I was the youngest child in my family growing up.
3. My family has one dog as a pet.
4. I love to watch American Idol with my family.
5. My favorite family vacation is visiting our family in Florida.
